Director Prashant Nair uses abandoned mall in Mulund to create Southeast Asian setting for Job Trafficking

Sources say director Prashant Nair has transformed a disused Mulund mall into a Southeast Asian setting as he shoots Job Trafficking. The production team has also brought in 50 actors from different Asian countries for certain portions

In early August, Prime Video announced Job Trafficking, a new series by filmmaker Prashant Nair of Trial by Fire (2023) fame. But well before that, the director quietly began filming the Nimrat Kaur-led thriller at a disused mall in Mulund. Sources have told mid-day that Nair wanted a space that could be transformed according to the needs of his story, which explores online scams that lure job seekers abroad with fake employment offers.
