Lock Upp's fresh season launches on Netflix, with the press conference the makers unveiled 3 major names that are set to get locked in the jail. Ram Kapoor was the first one to be announced as the inmate. Ram Kapoor joined the stage with jailers Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan. Farah asked him what was the reason behind taking up the show, to which Ram said, "As they said own your truth, so here it is. I had never thought I would do such a show. In fact, yesterday was Father's Day and my kids asked me whether I was actually doing this show. For the first time they questioned me, they were worried There is no specific reason, but sometimes universe gives you signs. I got four such signs that I had to do this show. The casting director for this show, she has never approached me for anything like this but this time she was determined. They shocked me, this was exactly what I was looking for. The second sign was owning your truth and third was despite the massive population of this country, it is Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh hosting the show. I must tell you this fun trivia, Farah, Sajid and I are chuddy buddies, while when it comes to Riteish, I have seen him in an interesting situation."
