Some songs take on a life of their own, flowing through generations and winning much-deserved love. Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s classic, Sanson Ki Mala, is one such gem. The iconic qawwali has witnessed a fresh surge of love with Mirzapur: The Movie, where it appears in the climax featuring Rasika Dugal’s character Beena Tripathi and her lover, essayed by Mohit Malik.
