Prime Video has announced Quiz from God, a new Japanese Prime Original drama that reimagines the popular Korean mystery series of the same name. Starring Shotaro Mamiya in the lead, the series will premiere on Prime Video worldwide on December 4, 2026, across more than 240 countries and territories.

Shotaro Mamiya plays forensic genius

Mamiya plays Haruto Hatsushima, a brilliant forensic pathologist who was once a neurosurgeon. Known by some as a “genius chosen by God”, Haruto is also considered an eccentric by his colleagues. After leaving the operating room for deeply personal reasons, he joins the National Forensic Autopsy Centre, where he attempts to uncover the truth behind deaths that initially appear impossible to explain.
