A few weeks ago, being in the same room as former German goalkeeper Oliver Kahn would have been unimaginable to YouTube star and television presenter Sahil Khattar. So, imagine his surprise when he, as the anchor of Zee5’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026, recently shot a special video with the football great. “When I met him, I was slightly conscious. I touched his feet. He didn’t know about the Indian tradition, so I explained what it means. Now, whenever we meet, I touch his feet and he blesses me,” beamed Khattar.

Kahn serves as an expert on the show. During the shoot, their conversation often veers towards India’s football stars. Khattar shared, “He spoke about Sunil Chhetri, Baichung Bhutia, Sandesh Jhingan, and Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.”
