In celebration of their historic World Cup victory last month, comedian Kapil Sharma will welcome the Indian women's cricket team, which includes Harmanpreet Kaur, Richa Ghosh, Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh, Harleen Deol, Radha Yadav, and Pratika Rawal. However, Smriti Mandhana is absent from the festivities due to attention focused on her personal life following the cancellation of her marriage to music composer Palash Muchhal, according to a recent episode teaser.

On Wednesday, the producers of The Great Indian Kapil Show unveiled a teaser for the next episode featuring the Indian women's cricket squad. Amol Mazumdar, the head coach, will also be featured in the show.

Upcoming episode to have the grand Women's cricket team

In the promo, Kapil is shown questioning Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of Indian women's cricket, about the bhangra motions she displayed when hoisting the trophy. Jemimah entered the discussion and disclosed that Smriti Mandhana was the one who had inspired her to start dancing.

Jemimah was heard saying, “Harry didi hum logon ki baat nahi sunti hai. Par Smriti ne bola tha ki agar bhangra nahi kiya toh main baat nahi karungi life bhar (Harry didi dont listen to us. But Smriti had said that if I didn’t do the Bhangra, she wouldn’t talk to me for life)”.

Kapil also questioned Shafali Verma regarding Pratika's injuries. "Haan toh gussa kyun kar rahi ho, maine toh aise hi poocha," Kapil joked when she responded with a straight face. (Why are you upset? I merely asked in passing.

Afterwards, Kapil jokingly asks Renuka Singh about her "ideal boy," going into matchmaker mode. Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda were also shown in the promo, adding to the episode's enjoyment. On December 27, the episode will debut.

Netizens react to Smriti Mandhana's absence

Social media users reacted to Smriti's absence in the comment area as soon as they noticed it.

"Smriti is sadly absent from this show, just as she was absent from KBC. However, her name is often spoken by the squad wherever they go, which makes them feel really unique. They are genuinely raising the bar for team sports and their relationship. One reply said, "They are winning in life too."

Another said, "Missing Smriti here," and another said, "Smriti missing."

"This place is really missing Smriti mam. One person commented, "Maggie is the biggest fumble human." "Smriti Mandhana is not here," said someone else. One person wrote, "We miss you, my queen Smriti mandhana."
