As he begins dubbing for 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein', Tahir Raj Bhasin thrilled to develop Netflix series despite challenges

He has been working at a frenetic pace to make up for the lost time, but Tahir Raj Bhasin isn’t complaining. In the past few months, the actor has straddled the distinct universes of 'Looop Lapeta' opposite Taapsee Pannu, Bulbul Tarang with Sonakshi Sinha, and the upcoming Netflix series, 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein'. Now, he can breathe easy as the suspense thriller, also starring Shweta Tripathi Sharma, is nearing its finish line.
Currently dubbing for the project in the city, he says, “Post-production has been a challenge throughout the pandemic, and it’s great to finally be able to meet the crew, get into the dubbing studio and get to work. We’re in fifth gear, racing towards completion.”

While the two lockdowns halted shoots across the state, Bhasin believes it also gave him the time to hone his craft and gain better understanding of stories. He is optimistic that the upcoming three projects, belonging to varied genres, will showcase his growth as an artiste. “'Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein' is a full-on entertainer with a thrilling script that will have you on the edge of your seat. Shooting for the series has pushed me as a performer, and am looking forward to the [audience’s] reaction. I consider myself fortunate to have got good work despite the pandemic.”
