Exclusive! The Ba***ds of Bollywood actor Manish Chaudhari says Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri are proud of son Aryan Khan

During the chat, the actor expressed his excitement for the series. He also recalled feeling nervous before sharing the stage with Shah Rukh Khan on the trailer launch day. He said, “I was very nervous as I wanted to do it correctly. Itni saari shooting ke baad fir se. But it was wonderful, and he was so gracious and encouraging that I had a great time.”

When asked about his experience working with the debutant, the actor said, “It has been a fantastic time working with Aryan. He has been writing this project for around two years, so he was well prepared.”

As Manish essays the role of an acclaimed producer in the series, we asked what he would do differently if he were to become one in real life. He replied, “I guess I would be a little more generous as a producer. Things were very different back then. It was very difficult to meet producers; there was a whole army that came between an actor and a producer. But now times have changed, and things are a little more streamlined.”

Manish Chaudhari on nepotism

Manish gained prominence with his stint in Rocket Singh, which also starred Ranbir Kapoor. The film gained recognition 14 years after its release. Reacting to the film’s viral scenes and its renewed popularity, Manish said, “It would have been great if Rocket Singh became a hit at the time, but it didn’t happen. We were lucky that it has become one of the most rewatched films in recent history. I think it just got a longer life.”

When asked about working with Ranbir and the ongoing nepotism debate in Bollywood, the actor stated, “Ranbir has proven time and again how talented he really is. There is no doubt about it. And I can tell you that very soon the world will see the talent of Aryan Khan.”

Manish on Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo

The actor recalled how proud Shah Rukh is of his son and how he frequently visited the sets. “He frequently visited the sets and my interactions with him were wonderful. This is Aryan’s series, and he has got the support of his father and mother, as it should be. I am sure they are very proud of him.”

Talking about Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir’s cameo in the show, Manish said, “It was great and quite fantastic. It has not been seen before, so I was excited about that.” He added, “I was present during these scenes and it was a wonderful experience working with him and watching him perform. It’s something so beautiful that you don’t think about it—you just get hit by the enormity of it.”
