Prime Video has announced the premiere date of its upcoming period drama The Revolutionaries, directed by filmmaker Nikkhil Advani. Inspired by true events, the series will premiere worldwide on September 11, 2026, and aims to bring the stories of lesser-known freedom fighters to a global audience.

Four forgotten freedom fighters

The series is based on Sanjeev Sanyal’s bestselling book Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom. Created and directed by Advani, the show is produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under Emmay Entertainment. It stars Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta and Gurfateh Pirzada in the lead, with Jason Shah, Paoli Dam and Tota Roy Chowdhury in key roles.
