What  is it about the city that has been luring a slew of internationally acclaimed artists to perform in Mumbai? For one, the rich culture and diversity holds massive appeal for bands and solo performers. Tim Foreman, bassist for Switchfoot — that recently performed in the metropolis — spells it out, “The energy and excitement with which we were welcomed in Mumbai was overwhelming. Music can have an incredible reach across barriers and countries, as we’ve learnt from this trip to India.” While international agents were wary of India a few years ago, the scene seems to be undergoing a drastic change. “I can think as far back as The Beatles making their way to India and revelling in the culture here,” adds Mikhail Mehra, music producer.
