At that point in time, most of the saree market was flooded with traditional designs irrespective of its pricing. Through Beatitude, they tried to fill in this gap and brought to the table what customers were waiting for. Pushkar elaborates and says, "We do not want the modern-day women to neglect our traditional attire just because the variety available does not suit their personas"

"At one end was the demand that we saw and at the other was the plight of weavers that we witnessed," said Akanksha. She continued to talk about her experience of meeting weavers across the country "We were shocked to see that despite their talent and being the most crucial elements of the saree business, the weavers were in poor shape. They were paid poorly, and their art was not reaching the larger audience". Thus, they launched Beatitude to promote weavers, enable their families, and ensure that they got their worth.
Beatitude has witnessed phenomenal growth with an impressive CAGR of 4975% over the past four years. Talking about their unprecedented growth, Pushkar Shukla says," We always had a laser-sharp vision of creating value for weavers, consumers, and us through Beatitude, and we are happy to be walking in the right direction". Akanksha added that the cause of Make In India and promoting local art to a global stage has always been their driving force, helping them achieve so much success in such little time.
When asked about the variety available at Beatitude, Pushkar said, "We source our sarees from many different states in India and work with a variety of artisans to get the finest and most exclusive designs for our customers. Our range includes finest works like Jamdani, Kalamkari, Linen, Chanderi, and Banarasi Silk, among others."
Akanksha owes a lot of Beatitude's success to the shift in the mindset of local and global buyers towards Indian handicraft. She is happy that they have superior products that are proudly made in India and appeal to buyers across the globe. The couple believes that in their small way, they are contributing to the growth of their country.
The couple has aggressive plans to take Beatitude to a new level in 2021. They started the year with an all-new range of theme-based and handpainted designer sarees for their elite customers.
