Head to Sidebar talks, a unique initiative, introduced to encourage creative interactions in an informal environment, under the umbrella of cultural events hosted by The Barking Deer, the city's first microbrewery.

This monthly event comprises a talk and creative salon with prominent creative minds and the inaugural session will witness an evening with the award-winning author Vikram Chandra in conversation with Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Geeta Anand.

"The idea is not only to impart knowledge but also make prominent personalities more accessible and involve audience participation in a very intimate setting. That's why it is called a creative salon," says Ryan Ballard, Sidebar coordinator, who has curated several cultural events in the city as well as in the US.
