When Metallica's maiden gig in India (Gurgaon) in 2011 got canned due to security issues, the ticket rates for the next stop soared in record time. A group of youngsters from Mumbai bought tickets worth Rs. 3,000 to attend the Bengaluru concert. The experience transformed their outlook towards music. Today, they are better known as Tripp Pilots, one of the few Alternative Metal acts in the city. The five-piece band will promote their originals and play interesting covers at a gig tonight.
