Walk into a library and borrow a human book to listen to stories that you may have experienced but never had the chance to share


When was the last time you sat face-to-face with a family member or a friend, and talked about life? And we’re not talking about the club-hopping, beer-guzzling Friday night conversations. We are talking about the real ones — the one we read about in storybooks; the one where your friend or sister tells you, in detail, about what happened with her day and you just listen. When was the last time you yearned for an ear that would simply let your voice spill over like an overenthusiastic story? You know, if there’s one thing wrong with 21st-century life, then it’s a lack of dialogue. And Andaleeb Qureshi, founder of Human Library Mumbai, agrees.
