WeAreTheCity India is an online platform that supports the career development of women through networking, events, articles and interviews. The site aims to bring professional women, female entrepreneurs and the charity sector onto one platform to promote and celebrate the successes of local women in India.

After launching in Mumbai on International Women’s Day on March 8 this year, they are geared for their flagship event to be held today. Titled Polish your Profile and Enhance Your Career, the event will be led by Vanessa Vallely, motivational speaker, author of Heels of Steel and CEO of WeAreTheCity UK and India. At the event, the founders will announce two new co-chairs to run WeAreTheCity India: Jo Gaglani, founder of Sanctum Spa and Wellness and Dimple Luniya, Feng Shui consultant and author.
