American comedian and actor Kevin Hart is all to perform in India for the first time, as he brings his 'Acting My Age Tour' to Mumbai on September 21. Known for his signature style of comedy, there are a lot of Indians who are really excited for his performance in the city.
While this is going to be a fun performance, live entertainment has changed by leaps and bounds in the country in the last few years, and with the growing number of international artists coming to perform in the city, it is important to enjoy the experience without any hurdles.
As Hart takes to the stage this weekend, here’s all you need to know before the performance:
Performance venue
Kevin Hart is set to perform at the NSCI Dome SVP Stadium in South Mumbai’s Worli neighbourhood on September 21 this weekend from 7 pm.
Eligibility
The English standup comedy special will be one-hour long. Only people of 14 years of age and above will be allowed entry and require tickets to be permitted inside the venue.
The indoor venue has a seating-style arrangement for the performance. It is neither kid-friendly nor pet-friendly.
Travel hacks to reach the venue
Known to be among the most crowded stretches in Mumbai, the best way to reach the venue is by train from the Central, Harbour and Western line.
While the closest railways station on the Central line is Currey Road and Chinchpokli, the nearest station on the Harbour line is Sewri. However, Western line is the easiest as you can travel by Mahalaxmi and Lower Parel stations.
While these are the cheapest travelling options, you can also take the Aqua Metro line from Aarey-JVLR metro via BKC to Acharya Atre Chowk Metro Station, which is only 10 minutes away by road, and 25 minutes walking to the venue.
