After three successful editions in India, the multi-genre music festival is all set to take place in January next year, and here’s all you need to know about it

After bringing the likes of Green Day, Louis Tomlinson, Glass Animals and more in 2025, the fourth edition of Lollapalooza India is all set to take place on January 24 and 25 in 2026, less than a year after its previous edition.
The music festival, which is set to take place at the iconic Mahalaxmi Racecourse, will have four stages and will command over 20 hours of live music.
The ticket sales for Lollapalooza India 2026 will open with a limited exclusive pre-sale at 11 am on August 26 followed by the general on-sale of tickets at 12 noon on August 28.
The Indian edition of the show is produced by BookMyShow Live along with global producers, Perry Farrell and C3 Presents.
Naman Pugalia, Chief Business Officer of live events said, “As we enter the fourth edition, our ambition is to deepen the festival’s role as a catalyst for the live entertainment economy in India.”
Ever since its debut in India, the music festival has seen the likes of Imagine Dragons and The Strokes sharing the stage with AP Dhillon and DIVINE in 2023. It was followed by Sting, OneRepublic, Jonas Brothers, The Raghu Dixit Project and Prabh Deep in 2024, and Green Day and Shawn Mendes’ India debut in 2025 alongside Louis Tomlinson and Hanumankind, but not without John Summit, Aurora, Brazilian DJ Alok and even Korean band Wave to Earth. The music festival has been bringing some of the world’s most-loved musicians to the country.
According to a survey conducted by Live Nation with Lollapalooza India 2025’s attendees, 62 per cent cited the festival’s atmosphere as the reason they come back. Over half of all respondents said they come to the festival specifically to stumble upon new music, and an overwhelming 98 per cent plan to return in 2026.
