For the hoppy-boppy kids, and the little ones who love their gadgets, I would recommend Fun O Factory (FOF). The indoor play space at R City Mall, Ghatkopar, is different from its counterparts because it steers kids to take on indoor play with high energy.
The main attraction of FOF is its trampoline park. A large expanse of multiple trampolines connected to one another with bounce walls, basketball rings and balls, is simply too inviting. Any kid choosing to spend time in this area can&rsquo;t help but bounce around and try to basket a ball. This is evident in the guffaws that kids let out when they throw themselves on the trampoline wall to bounce back and then, bounce some more.
Adjacent to the trampoline park is the foam pool. Dive in here and either choose to wade through the soft cubes of foam or wallow in the foam loch. If your muscles are unused, you&rsquo;ll need help to get off this one, and even that is fun. Looming over the foam pool is a rock-climbing wall. Looking at the grips on the wall, I wait to see which kid ventures towards it.

Outside of the trampoline park, FOF is divided into two zones. The kiddie soft play zone has all the regular fits - slides that curve downwards to the ball pools, the zipline, a baby trampoline, toddler swings, several ropeways, the crawl tunnels, and little nooks where one can work large jigsaw puzzles. While the space is busy with FOF staffers who play with kids, it needs better lighting, perhaps.
On the left was a network of pathways akin to adventure sporting. Kids were harnessed, helmeted and strapped to a safety spool before they walked. Each level is of increasing difficulty. While my 11-year-old daughter Vani gravitated to it, unfortunately, you need to be under five feet to do this. My nine-year-old son, Ammol, was extracted from the foam pool and cajoled to walk the walk. A male attendant strapped him and guided him through, yet Ammol refused to go through the entire walk. It was too alarming.
A younger tot hopped in, was strapped and unflinchingly completed most of the walkways with tremendous ease. At the centre of the adventure walkway is a rope jungle gym that feels hammocky as it swings from the roof with kids clambering from one level to the next to the third.
All in all, when we left, the kids were ruddy with the exertion and happy, too.
