An Italian in Mumbai January The Symphony Orchestra of India, which completed 10 years in 2016, has brought and performed several international masterpieces to Mumbai. Keeping up with the tradition, the 2017 season of the SOI will begin in January with a concert conducted by the highly acclaimed and sought-after conductor, Carlo Rizzi.

A sound act December Acclaimed dance legend Astad Deboo will premiere his new production Silence is Golden. Deboo will collaborate with deaf performers for this piece. The act will debut in Bengaluru and will be followed by a Mumbai show.

Will it be a reality? June According to an Instagram conversation between John Myung (bassist) and a fan, heavyweight Rock outfit Dream Theater will shortly announce their Asia tour dates. India is likely to be in the list, thanks to a growing number of Indian fans of the band. Let&rsquo;s hope Mumbai is on their radar.
