Poker, the card game that rose to prominence in American casinos in the 1970s, is now a trend among youngsters. This weekend, plan your strategies and play your cards well to earn prizes at a poker fiesta.

"The prizes are pulling in people for the tournament. The first prize is an Apple iPad, the second is a Moto G5 Smart Phone and the third is a JBL speaker," informs Rachna Vyas, of Bombay Connect - a co-working space in Mumbai that hosts fun events. The event is being sponsored by an online poker gaming website.
The tournament will follow the traditional Texas Hold'em style that knows no limits. The format has different stages and series. A game host will guide the participants. "You get a number of chits to start your game. There will be eight people per table and we are looking at about 70 to 90 participants. We have received 50 applications so far," says Vyas, adding, "There are also last minute walk-ins. They pay on the spot and enter."
The blinds will start at 25/50 and they will go up every 15 minutes.
