President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday condoled the demise of folk singer Teejan Bai, saying she brought recognition to Chhattisgarh's rich Pandavani tradition through her exceptional talent.

The legendary Pandavani folk singer, who brought Chhattisgarh's traditional storytelling art to global audiences, died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Raipur on Sunday.
