DJ Eric Prydz, the revered Swedish progressive house maestro, is set to return to India to perform later this year in October, a decade after he first came to the country, and what better time than now when the music concert scene is booming with not only Indian acts but also a variety of global acts come to our shores.
As a part of the tour, he will perform on October 4 at the IGI Stadium in New Delhi followed by another performance on October 5 at the Dome SVP Stadium in Mumbai.
Prydz's second India tour promises to be an immersive journey through his musical evolution and will see him perform some of his all-time hits, including 'We Are Mirage,' 'Allein,' and 'Opus’.
Eric Prydz shares, "Returning to India is incredibly special to me. The energy and passion of the Indian audience are truly unique, and I'm excited to witness it live with them. It's been an incredible journey over two decades and to celebrate it in such a dynamic country is an honour. Get ready for an immersive experience."
Mohit Bijlani, co-founder, Team Innovation states, "This tour celebrates Eric’s genius. Fans can expect an auditory and visual spectacle that redefines electronic music performance.”
The shows are being produced by District, and Team Innovation and District, respectively. The tickets will be available from 12 noon on August 19.
Prydz’s career has been defined by a relentless pursuit of innovation, delivering iconic releases alongside pioneering visual experiences. He has consistently pushed the boundaries of electronic music performance with creations like his revolutionary 2018 HOLO show and the subsequent Holosphere concept, both of which redefined holographic and visual technology in live settings.
Over the years, Eric Prydz has managed to cement his position as a pivotal figure in the development of progressive house, making significant contributions that have shaped the genre and captivated a global fanbase. In recent times, Prydz is the latest addition to the names of global artists visiting India in the next few months. While DJ Francis Mercier is one of the music producers visiting, the performers also include much-loved artists such as Enrique Iglesias, Travis Scott, Passenger and The Smashing Pumpkins, who are set to define the music performances for the rest of 2025.
