Vaishali Jain, a millennial mom, a luxury fashion blogger and a finalist for Mrs.India Worldwide- is always looking for ways to experiment and learn about fashion trends. Back in the day, she sacrificed her business to be a full-time mom and bounced back as a successful luxury fashion influencer. She has a sincere following of more than 16000 people on Instagram. She believes that she can do whatever she sets her heart to. Sure there are ups and downs in life, but where's the fun without them, right?

Being an army kid, determination flows through her blood. "I always saw my dad getting dressed up in his uniform, all ready to serve the nation. I couldn't help but wonder how it would be if my mom was still pursuing her dreams today, just like she wanted to. So when I grew up, I had decided one thing for sure - that I would be steering the wheel of my life in a way that not only allows me to nurture my family, but my career as well."

She also adds, “My experience of participating and becoming a finalist in the Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide has taught me a lot about giving my 100% in everything that I do. Mr. Bharat Bharmar, the man behind Haut Monde and co-founder Sylvie Rodgers, my mentor for the contest have inspired me to become the best version of myself.” So what does Vaishali have to say about Mantras for Millennial Parenting? Let's find out!

Bridge the gap - Once in our life, we all have felt that it would have been so much easier if the generation gap between us and our parents did not exist. Well, that is not possible. But why can't we take little steps to bridge that gap? Spend time with your child. Try to understand them. Try putting yourself in their shoes, trust me- it helps.

Trust yourself - The world we live in, people are quick to offer advice even when they have absolutely no idea of what they are doing. Everyone will have an opinion about you and your decisions, and they are entitled to have them. But at the end of the day, it's your choice whether to accept it or not. There will definitely be times when you doubt yourself, but what's important is that you start to trust yourself eventually.

Don't forget yourself amidst the chaos - More often than not, we forget to take care of ourselves while juggling between the many roles we have taken up- a mother, a wife, a daughter, an entrepreneur and a woman. But it's extremely essential to take those few moments of peace for yourself. Be it a yoga session, a dance class, watching your favorite movie or meditating for a few minutes- you'll feel the difference!
