Dear Diana,
I’m 27 and single. I met this girl at a friend’s engagement ceremony recently. As the celebrations were in Goa, I got a chance to spend a lot of time with her and got to know her well. She is also single. I was extremely comfortable with her. I think I have fallen in love with her. We have now gone our ways, but I do not know how to call her. We did exchange numbers, but it is over a week and she has not called me. I feel lonely and keep thinking about her. I do have a friend whom she also knows, should I confide in him? I feel I am socially awkward, but with her it was different. It was love at first sight. How do I tell her I love her? I am apprehensive about her reaction?
