I have been with this guy for over a year. Now, when we were planning to make things official and get engaged, a friend of his has made some startling revelations about him. According to her, he was secretly married when he was based in Kolkata for a year. He had told me that he had gone for an office assignment to Kolkata six years ago. She is a former colleague and their common friends tell me that she was interested in him, but he was not. As soon as word spread that we were going to exchange rings, she called me to tell me that she had something important to tell me. I met her at a mall where she told me that he had befriended a girl there and they had exchanged garlands at a temple. He was young and naive and just gave it to the girl's demands.
