Dear Parag,
If your girl truly felt for you, such a situation would not have arisen. For over a year, you were with her, so she had adequate time to convince her mom and explain how serious you two were as marriage was on the cards. She strangely could not make her mother realise what you meant and dropped you like a hot potato. First, instead of pining for her, think whether your girl really cared for you. If she did, the question of choosing would not have arisen. It is clear that she was not serious about you, she has moved on, it's better that you do the same.
