This Friday, witness not one but three different music outfits coming together on the same platform, and offering a mash up of multiple genres right from Dubstep, Drum n Bass, Punk to Electronica among others. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/may/BBC-Hi-Res-Pic-6-Photo-Cred.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 669px;" /> Bay Beat Collective (BBC) The performance lineup includes the Pune-based Electronica outfit Tripshot Crew led by Maitreya Rajurkar and Ved Dhadphale followed by Mumbai-based DJ Reji, and the multi-talented and popular act Bay Beat Collective, led by Kris Correya and Sohail Arora. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s going to be a mash up of different styles,&rdquo; says Rajurkar of Tripshot Crew, the Electronic outfit, which will also be opening the evening. Tripshot Crew has been around for years, and is also credited to pioneer the Electronic scene in Pune. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/may/Tripshot-Crew.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 310px;" /> Tripshot Crew Rajurkar says that apart from playing their popular acts, and a live mashup MIDI sounds and guitars, the group would also bring some unreleased works on the table for the first time. &ldquo;We have been working on few tracks for some time, and are planning to release them for the first time in front of the Mumbai crowd,&rdquo; adds Maitreya. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/may/Reji.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 482px;" /> DJ Reji All the artistes performing at the act come with their own styles and influences. So, while Tripshot Crew will play Electronica, DJ Reji will display his versatility and skill in bringing several genres of music together on the turntable. &ldquo;We would be offering sets of heavy bass Dubstep music,&rdquo; says Sohail Arora of Bay beat Collective when asked about the performance. Known for its fat bass lines and high voltage grooves, Bay Beat Collective, also called BBC, has toured with several popular acts including the Prodigy.
