Coffee chain Starbucks has opened its first outlet in the city. The launch was a grand affair with the who&rsquo;s who of the city being invited. While the eatery is spacious, it still manages to be full of people. You can place your order for the food and it will be served at the table while for the brews you will have to go and collect it yourself. Pic/ Sachin Thakare In a short span of time, it has become a must-visit place in town. We liked the ambiance and their prompt service. We snacked on their English Muffin Kothimbirwadi (Rs 95) which consisted of soft bread, mayonnaise and Kothimbir-wadi. It made for a delectable combination. We also tried the Pumpkin Spice Pie (Rs 140) which is their speciality. It was delicious and full of subtle flavours. Plus, we liked the fact that there are few places across the city that offer this dish. Among the brews, we tried their Short Cappuccino (Rs 110) which was strictly average. A word of warning though; those with a sweet tooth might find the coffees a tad strong. The store area is around 2,000 sq ft and has the capacity to seat 150 people. You can avail of both vegetarian as well as non&ndash; vegetarian preparations including Tomato and Mozzarella Cheese Sandwich, Murg Tikka Panini and Elaichi Mawa Croissant.
