Last week, the government of India approved a new cyber security policy that aims to provide secure computing environment in the country and build capacities to strengthen the current scenario, with a focus on manpower training. The move came at a time when India has been seeing a torrent of international attacks on its cyber networks. A recent report said that India ranks 8th on the list of the top 10 hacking targets, accounting for a 2.3% of the world’s attack traffic during the 4th quarter of 2012.u00a0
