Washington: Ebola is more likely to be fatal for children under five, an international team of scientists led by Imperial College London and the World Health Organisation (WHO) said on Wednesday, a media report said on Thursday.

The team analyzed data on Ebola cases in children under 16 during the current outbreak in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone and found that young children who get the disease have a lower chance of surviving it, although the rate of infection is lower in children than adults, reported Xinhua.
