Melange, a special programme that showcases the evolution of traditional Indian Classical music, has been conceptualised by classical singer Mahesh Kale. Kale is a disciple of the late Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki. Film actress Ashwini Bhave will anchor the show.

Mélange attempts to showcase the evolution of Indian Classical music and how it became more enriched due to the inclusion of Vedic, Persian and Folk music over time. Indian Classical Music has also been influenced by the music from North India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nepal.
