The first collection at designer shop Evolv features a range of affordable fashion and design made in collaboration with designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. Whether it was the focus on the youth or the mix of different designers. We liked it immediately. The eclectic and edgy store has a thumbs up from our end,&rdquo; says Gandhi. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/jan/DSC_7716-FB.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 691px;" /> Evolv is showcasing garments designed in collaboration with designers To highlight the idea of designer collaborations, the limited edition lines are showcased for a duration of two months. The designers draw inspiration from linear structures and geometrical lines and are influenced by contemporary art. The look is minimal and the clothing modern and sophisticated. The collection is titled &ldquo;The Theatre of Illusions&rdquo;. It is a blend of colours such as berry, coral, and indigo with darker hues of black and grey. &ldquo;The reflection of our design sensibilities is evident. The silhouettes are mostly fitted and structured. The garments are finished with hand-crafted metal detailing; sheer fabrics and layering,&rdquo; adds Gandhi.
