New York: Do you use a flashlight app on your smartphone? Security experts warn that free flashlight apps are secretly recording sensitive information from your phone.

According to a US-based security firm Snoopwall, the phone location, contacts, pictures, text messages and even banking data are accessed by the flashlight apps.
