Getting drenched in the cold rain showers, eating hot pakoras at the road side stall and walking through muddy roads! Rains bring back all the memories and excitement of childhood. But, it also brings few more things that are unpleasant and uninvited! Sneezing, running nose, cough, cold and fever. Monsoon illnesses are quiet common and easily affect people with low immunity.
Change in weather, drop in temperature and the damp surrounding during monsoon can trigger various allergies, asthma, and viral or bacterial infections. Some people are born with a low immunity and so are very vulnerable to illnesses during monsoon. In others, unhealthy lifestyle patterns, consumption of unhygienic food, stress, smoking, etc. can lead to compromised immunity. Overall, if precautions are not taken in time monsoon can get really stressful due to host of illnesses it brings along. When you can’t do much about the season changes and surroundings, there is one thing that can help when it comes to falling prey to the common sickness. It’s the strong immune power, you body’s own natural defence system!
