India&rsquo;s fastest growing mobile handset company, Intex, has become the No 1 handset maker in the country, surpassing almost 40+ global and Indian brands present in the market.

As per Cybex Exim reports from the last three months, the firm has outperformed all other players in import shipments and local manufacturing. This turnaround was a result of strong sales in the sub-5k segment, where Intex is the leader.
Intex has also become the first Indian company to launch an Android-based smartwatch &ndash;&lsquo;iRist&rsquo; at the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai (China) in July 2015. With the advent of 4G services, a slew of 4G handsets have been added to Intex&rsquo;s line up for the festive season.
