He says, &ldquo;Short films are like energy injections for me; they are my first love. The kind of experimentation one can do in short films cannot be done in any other medium. And it is an art form which is not at all recognised in India. I believe that we have to create awareness about short films in India. Moreover, it is not a stepping stone to make feature films.&rdquo; <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/dec/umesh-kulkarni.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 362px;" /> Umesh Kulkarni will conduct the session He added that this workshop offers an opportunity to explore this amazing medium further. Kulkarni will teach participants how to make short films as well as to distribute them effectively. &ldquo;A lot of people want to make short films. They have ideas but don&rsquo;t have the time to do a full-time course on how to make short films. This course is very beneficial for such people who work in different professions and still want to learn to make short films,&rdquo; he adds.
