His u00a0aim is to promote amateur photography and bring unexplored tourist destinations onto the travellers' maps. When you think of Ladakh in the winter, you conjure images of spine chilling cold with temperatures ranging from -5 to -35 degrees celsius. Parab has a different point of view though. He thinks holidaying in Ladakh in the winter is a life-changing experience.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div><img src="/imagedata/2011/dec/Zanskar.jpg" border="5" align="" alt="" /><br /></div><div><i><span style="color: red; font-size: 8pt; ">Zanskar Valley</span></i></div><div><br /></div><div>Talking about Wanderers, Parab says, "This is our 25th exhibition and the idea is to bring amateur photographers to the forefront. Generally such photographers have no place to exhibit their photographs and end up using social networking sites such as Flikr or Facebook to showcase their work. "People are scared to explore Nagaland because they think they will be attacked by tribals or will have to live in hutments. However, there is also another side to the state such as the Hornbill festival that hasn't been explored because of such misconceptions.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div><img src="/imagedata/2011/dec/Maitreya-Buddha.jpg" border="5" align="" alt="" /><br /></div><div><i><span style="font-size: 8pt; color: red; ">Maitreya Buddhas</span></i></div><div><br /></div><div>Similarly, when one thinks of Chattisgarh, the first thing that comes to mind is the Naxal attacks but those attacks are specific to a few places. In Kashmir, not all the places are riddled with terrorism and other problems; it is still heaven on earth."</div><div><br /></div><div><img src="/imagedata/2011/dec/ladakhi.jpg" border="5" align="" alt="" /><br /></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" color="#ff0000"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 11px; "><i>Ladakhi Girl in a traditional dress</i></span></font></div><div><br /></div><div>Talking about the current exhibition, Parab says, "The idea of the exhibition struck me when a couple of friends visited Antarctica and showed me images of being buried in knee-deep snow.
