Nolan Lewis is the first Indian to be selected as a top 10 finalist in the Mr Gay World Pageant, which was held in Antwerp this time. He speaks to KAVERI WAGHELA about breaking stereotypes and why he thinks Indians are far more knowledgeable about human rights than ever before
It started as a joke, over drinks and a chat when his friends urged him to send in his photographs for the Mr Gay World Pageant in Antwerp earlier this year. Just for kicks, Nolan Lewis sent them across to the organisers.
