New Delhi: Home-grown handset manufacturer Micromax Mobile has launched its fourth variant of the Canvas Doodle series, the Canvas Doodle 4 which is available for sale at an e-commerce website at Rs 9,199.

The launch comes as a surprise as the company recently sent a teaser message to the media but did not mention any expected launch date.  With dual-SIM compatibility, Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 sports a six-inch display and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK6582M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and comes with an 8GB internal storage.

The device sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. Doodle 4 packs a 3000mAh battery. On connectivity front, the device comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
