New York:&nbsp;Tech giant Microsoft has confirmed the launch of a slimmer&nbsp;version of the Xbox One at the&nbsp;E3 Expo. The console will reportedly be priced at USD 299.

Sleekest, most advanced Xbox ever: According to sources at Microsoft, the&nbsp;Xbox One S will have a sleek new visual design&nbsp;and will be 40 per cent smaller than the existing model, Xbox One, making it the smallest gaming machine Microsoft has produced.

Higher resolution video: The Xbox One S will come with&nbsp;4K Ultra HD video support.&nbsp;With a resolution of 3840 pixels &times; 2160 lines (8.3 megapixels, aspect ratio 16:9) it will enable sharper video viewing and visually impressive gameplay.
High Dynamic Range (HDR): Apart from higher video quality, the&nbsp;Xbox One S comes equipped with&nbsp;High Dynamic Range capabilities for both gaming and video.&nbsp;High-dynamic-range imaging (HDRI or HDR) is a technique used in imaging and photography to reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminosity than is possible with standard digital imaging or photographic techniques.

Redesigned controller: The&nbsp;Xbox One S console will also come with&nbsp;a slightly redesigned controller, featuring textured grip, increased wireless range and Bluetooth support.
