Monsoon witnesses a spurt in art and music performances as several ragas celebrate the joy, beauty and mystery of the rain. Ayee Barkha Ritu promises to be one such memorable event. Aditi Kaikini Upadhya, who trained under Pandit Dinkar Kaikini and Shobha Gurtu, will sing traditional as well as contemporary compositions that celebrate the monsoon. Tushar Bhatia, a composer, poet and sitar player of the Vilayat Khan Baaj, will demonstrate the compositions on the sitar and he will talk about the aesthetics of monsoon compositions.u00a0
