New Delhi: The OnePlus One smartphone will be available in India from Tuesday and everyone will be able to buy the premium device&nbsp;without an invite from a friend.

People will be able to buy it from the online shopping portal Amazon.in, which has started exclusively selling the smartphone in India from 10 am today without registering, the company announced on Facebook.
Normally, the phone is only available for users who have been invited exclusively, a marketing strategy meant to draw attention to the product.
The smartphone will be available in two variants &ndash; the 16GB Silk White and 64GB Sandstone Black. But the open sale is only for one day and people who visit the site tomorrow will need register to participate in the sale. Interestingly, in order to promote its product, the company will give invites to people who buy the smartphone on open Tuesday.
OnePlus One comes with top-of-the-line hardware specifications, including a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch (1080P display), 13MP rear camera with F2.0 aperture and Sony image sensor, 5MP front camera, 3100mAh battery, 4G-support and and NFC. It features CyanogenMod 11S, a custom aftermarket version of Android developed by Cyanogen.
The smartphone is available for Rs. 18,999 for the 16 GB version, while the 64 GB model will cost Rs. 21,999. However, these prices will likely change soon.
Delhi High Court had banned the sale of OnePlus One in India earlier over a patent issue with Ericsson. However, the ban was lifted recently.
