After an on-the-wheels dessert delivery service (Sweetish House Mafia), the city now has The Hot Box -- a late night, post-partying, mobile-eating destination, housed in a golden-coloured Esteem. When we heard of this, we were instantly reminded of eating overpriced instant noodles outside Shiva Valley at Anjuna Beach in Goa, where at 3 am there wasn&rsquo;t any other option available on the beach. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/jun/hot.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 303px;" /> Hot Dogs being made for the first trip of The Hot Box &ldquo;I would attend several gigs and realised that in Mumbai, you don&rsquo;t have many good late night snacking joints you could visit post 11 or 12 pm and I know that there are a lot of people looking for food post events. That&rsquo;s when I thought about The Hot Box to fill this gap in the market,&rdquo; says Tavish Bhasin, a 24-year-old copywriter who plans to work on weekends and feed the &lsquo;bhooka partying junta&rsquo;. Apart from copywriting, Bhasin also ran a Chinese and Thai food service in Wadala before. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/jun/tavishA.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 513px;" /> Tavish Bhasin Bhasin&rsquo;s first park was outside Sitara Studio in Dadar last week and on menu was Japanese style Hotdog (Rs 150), regular Hot Dog and Bacon Relish (Rs 150), and Chocolate Chip Cookies (Rs 150 for a pack of three). <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/jun/CAR.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 293px;" /> Look out for this gold Esteem to get your post-party snack Bhasin uses his Facebook page to spread the word, and people can request for destinations he could park at by posting it on the page. &ldquo;Also, I know several people from music venues, so they help spread the word. I feel I need to have a guy dressed in a hotdog suit to attract people to the car!,&rdquo; he says, adding that his first outing was a success and several people hailed him as a saviour that day.
