Performance by Ankur Tiwari and Ghalat family will have Hindi and Urdu acoustic ballads entwined with rock

This is the final call for all the headbangers to punk some more. This music cafe is out to serve more rock to your system as two new bands take the stage on Thursday. Ankur Tewari and Ghalat Family, a band based in Roorkee, who recently released their album with the track Bekhabar shooting up the music charts, will be one of the two bands performing. "We'll go for some casual rock. It'll have Hindi and Urdu acoustic ballads with rock for listeners," says Ankur Tewari.

Asked about their expectations from the audience, he adds: "We are expecting a crowd that enjoys music and love rock. Surely the audience will get to listen to music from our latest album as well as our upcoming albums. The band is very excited. We are here with new songs for a new audience."

Ankur Tewari has also worked for the movie Jannat. The other band performing would be Musafir which has been in this profession for almost five years now. An initiative by Ashutosh Jain, a participant of Fame Gurukul-2, has led to what they callu00a0 Musafir. The band plays Hindi rock and has launched its album Nishani lately.
Jain, lead vocalist of Musafir, says: "We haveu00a0 performed at manyu00a0 locations before like IITs, Taj Festival and so on. We are hoping to get an audience that would respond to our music. We will play songs from our
latest album, all original compositions."
