Rashee Shah, a one-time aspiring veterinarian, would veer off the path of her true calling to do her BSc in economics, accounting and management from a UK university.

The universe however had different plans for the 22-year-old, who would eventually do an advanced course in pet nutrition through an Australia-based institute. Rashee now runs Pet Caf ufffd, a month-old catering service for dogs (and soon for cats!).
When you call to place an order, expect to be asked about your pet's health problems, the frequency of his or her bowel movements and dietary preferences.
Rashee will follow that up with a consultation with her vet. If your dog suffers from obesity or arthritis, she will only use chicken breast meat (lower fat content) or add fresh eggshell powder to provide some much-needed calcium for your pet.

Though, this doesn't mean Rashee skips out on experimentation. With a dash of knowledge and a pinch of innovation, she whips up mouth-watering concoctions, which are pooch-certified by her own team of three pooches.
Make Me Kissable is a meal with chicken, rice and mint leaves along with a vegetable-of-the-day
What's for dinner?
You can choose from Juju Chicken and Rice, which is a combo of chicken, brown rice, carrots and zucchini ("carrots are one of the healthiest vegetables for dogs as they are high in beta carotene, which is beneficial for repairing damaged cells"), Halloween or Not: A pumpkin dish ("pumpkin can cure both constipation and diarrhoea, promoting urinary health and weight loss"), and Make me Kissable ("mint leaves help to freshen up your doggie's breath so that you can kiss them all you want!"), among other choices.
Rashee's most popular dish is the Farmer's Basket, which includes boiled eggs, chicken, oats and spinach. This comes loaded with iron, protein, potassium, antioxidants and lutein (a micro-nutrient that has anti-inflammatory properties, and is also helpful in warding off macular degeneration, a leading cause of blindness). So if you can get your pet to lap this up on a regular basis, he or she should be fit as a fiddle. Time for some serious bow-wow chow!
For Chicken and vegetarian meals start at Rs 100 for 200 grammes; egg meals start at Rs 55 for 200 grammes.
