Thickness and volume differences in the grey matter of several brain regions could predict an increased risk of developing epilepsy -- a neurological disorder characterised by seizures, finds a research led by a professor of Indian-origin. Epilepsy affects 0.6-1.5 per cent of the global population, comprising many different syndromes and conditions, and defined by a tendency for seizures.
