Hatchback-compact sedan duos which are a very common concept in the country today, were, in fact, started by Tata Motors (remember the Indica-Indigo CS?). Now, the automaker is coming up with yet another compact sedan in its line-up, the Tata Tigor, which is touted to be the spiritual successor of the Indigo CS (the country’s first compact sedan) and will sit below the Zest in the company’s portfolio. It is the sub-4m sedan avatar of the Tiago, which is doing really great for Tata Motors in terms of sales. In fact, the Tiago can be considered as the first successful attempt in its resurrection. Though the Tigor is based on the same proven formula, it is a relatively plusher product compared to the hatch. Here is what it offers extra over the Tiago.
