How about an app that may solve all these issues? Try GoFynd, a new fashion app that allows you to shop for popular fashions, find the right fit and check the quality without having to visit a store. You get same day delivery too.
What we like The app works as a fashion aggregator that collects items from physical retail stores around a specified location or a pin code. You can browse across categories, sizes, brands as well as select from its collection of favourites and latest trends. You can try two sizes of the same product at your home and return the one which doesn&rsquo;t fit to the delivery personnel.
What we don&rsquo;t The app promotes itself as a great platform to check the latest trends and styles, but most of the suggestions were disappointing. Besides, several items suggested on the app weren&rsquo;t available for same day delivery and didn&rsquo;t come with multiple size options, thus missing on two of its USPs. But we believe, next day delivery compared to the long wait of other websites is not a hassle too.
Also, though the app promises a lifetime return on all products, provided they are not damaged, washed and used, it doesn&rsquo;t consider items sold on sale for return/exchange, which is also not very consumer-friendly, and makes the app as inconvenient as any other e-commerce portal. We also found that the items listed on the app are limited and far more expensive than other e-commerce portals.
But despite that, GoFynd is a great idea. And though the lack of products, poor style choices had us disappointed, considering it&rsquo;s just two months old, we expect things to get better. However, the app makers should consider adding more filters in the product listing, especially options to filter products based on specific stores and locations, as well as filtering out products based on time for delivery.
