Patrizia Maimouna Guerresi’s photographs come from her imagination and experiences during her travels across the globe. Known for photographing portraits of women that symbolise abstract realities, she has been credited for showcasing various values, cultures and religion that go beyond aesthetic pleasure.

For her latest exhibition titled Inner Space, Guerresi has shot over 100 photographs of which only 26 photographs will be exhibited at Piramal Art Gallery. The pictures show veiled figures of women that symbolise a sacred space which she describes as a ‘templeu00a0of spirit’. It explores feminine spirituality that demands attention for its nature and composure.
