Duncun Rufus comprises of Lima Yanger (Vocals / Guitar), Hitesh Dhutia (Guitar), Vinay Lobo (Guitar), JD (Bass) and Gaute Johannesen (Drums). What&rsquo;s interesting is that all members are full-time musicians except Gaute, who also works for a private company. Why Duncun Rufus? The name is basically a combination of a street where I grew up in and my first guitar set. So, it&rsquo;s a mixture of Duncun Road in Nagaland and Rufus. The name comes from my roots. When we formed this band in 2009, we decided to keep this name. Tell us about your new album, Carte Blanche. We decided to have an album like this after a beer drinking session in 2009. The idea stayed that way until 2010. Early 2010 witnessed jam sessions and rough sketches of rough tracks. I locked myself away for a month and wrote about 15 songs; we chose from those and made the album. The songs are about hope, betrayal, desire and devotion in troubled times. What next? We have already started writing our next album. It will be called The Folds Galore. We are aiming for a 2012 end release. We have a whole bunch of songs, but are still in the process of deciding on the contents of this album. It will be slightly different from our present album.u00a0
